No, it is best to use high quality PNG images with at least 300 DPI.

We at Awkward Styles are always in pursuit of the best quality possible. To ensure that this idea is applied throughout our products we have to make sure we use quality images and designs. Here are some things to take into consideration:

  • Make sure your image is in PNG format with the background removed to avoid any under-base issues.

  • A minimum of 300 DPI is required for clear high-resolution prints. If the resolution is less than 300 DPI there is a risk of the print coming out blurry and pixelated.

  • Check artboard sizes and design sizes. If your ideal design is 5"x5" but your artboard size is 6"x6" that adds an inch of blank area to the design. You will need to trim that design to the ideal size. Each garment has different printing areas so it is important to keep this in mind.

  • Our printers use CMYK for photorealistic images and turn to a more RGB approach when using solid colored graphics or gradients. Ensure you use the right format for the correct image.

If you follow these tips you will have the best-looking prints provided! Our printers are very versatile therefore if we have optimal settings, it guarantees amazing products.
